This April Iām challenging myself to a distance challenge, to support the vital work of the Northern Territoryās lifesaving aerial medical service, CareFlight.
Iām aiming to cycle 750 kms total in April (25 kms average per day). Iām also aiming to raise $2 per km ridden.
Please consider donating towards this amazing organisation that is CareFlight.
Their work is an essential lifeline for everyone living or visiting the Top End. In the past year alone their specialised crews have treated and transported more than 7,000 patients across an area of 600,000 square kilometers.
The Territory is known for its extreme climate and rugged terrain, so CareFlight doctors and nurses are required to undergo regular fitness training and assessment to ensure they can reachĀ even the most remote communities in the Top End.
Please support me as I take on the 2024 CareFlight Territory Challenge and train like CareFlightās specialised crew. The next life they save could be mine, yours, or someone we love.
